April 6, 2026 The Light that Broke the Darkness
Today’s Reflection:
Resurrection morning brings hope into darkness
Very early in the morning, before the sun had fully risen, the women came to the tomb. Darkness still lingered, but something had already changed.
The stone was rolled away.
The resurrection did not wait for daylight; it created it, because the resurrection itself is light.
Just as physical light breaks through night, Christ’s resurrection broke through the darkness of sin, despair, and death. What began in sorrow at Calvary now turns to hope at the empty tomb.
Malachi prophesied this moment:
Malachi 4:2 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…”
The resurrection is not just an event, it is the dawning of a new reality. The Light has come.
Question:
What darkness are you facing today?
Have you allowed the resurrection light of Christ to shine into it?
The tomb is empty, hope is alive.
April 7, 2026 LOOK at the Proof or the Resurrection
Primary Text: Luke 24:2–3; John 20:6–8
Additional Text: Acts 1:3; 1 John 1:1–2
Today’s Reflection:
The resurrection is verified truth
The women came expecting death but found an empty tomb.
Peter ran, looked, and wondered.
John saw and believed.
The Resurrection is not built on imagination but on evidence. The empty tomb, the folded grave clothes, and the eyewitness accounts all testify:
Jesus is alive.
Acts 1:3 declares: “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs…”
Scripture Reference: Numbers 21 LOOK and live.
The power was not in the serpent…
The power was not in the act of looking…
The power was in believing God’s Word.
Question:
Are you resting in the proof of the resurrection?
Or are you still searching for something more?
The empty tomb is God’s declaration: “It is finished.”
April 8, 2026 LOOK at the Promise Fulfilled
Primary Text: Luke 24:6–7; John 2:19
Additional Text: Titus 1:2; Joshua 21:45
Keynote: God always keeps His Word
Today’s Reflection:
The angels said:
“Remember how he spake unto you…”
The resurrection was not a surprise, it was a promise fulfilled.
Jesus had already said He would rise again.
And He did.
This reveals a powerful truth:
God’s promises are never empty, because the tomb is.
Titus 1:2 reminds us: “God, that cannot lie…”
Every word spoken by Christ is trustworthy. The resurrection confirms:
His deity
His authority
His reliability
If God kept His greatest promise (raising His Son), He will keep every promise.
Question:
What promise of God do you need to trust today?
Are you remembering what He has already said?
Faith grows when we remember His Word.
April 9, 2026, LOOK by Faith at the Person of the Resurrection
Primary Text: John 20:29; Hebrews 11:1
Additional Text: 2 Corinthians 4:18; Galatians 2:20
Today’s Reflection:
Living by faith, not sight (Keswick emphasis)
Thomas wanted to see, but Jesus pronounced a greater blessing:
“Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
This is where we live.
We were not at the tomb.
We did not see the stone rolled away.
But we believe.
The Christian life is not striving, it is trusting.
Not self-effort—but Christ living through us.
Galatians 2:20 says: “I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…”
We LOOK not with physical eyes, but with the eyes of faith.
Question:
Are you walking by sight… or by faith?
Are you trusting Christ daily, or trying to live in your own strength?
The risen Christ is not just to be believed in, but to be lived through.
April 10, 2026, LOOK by Faith and Live
Primary Text: Romans 10:9; John 3:14–16
Additional Text: Isaiah 45:22; Hebrews 12:2
Today’s Reflection:
The call to respond
Your sermon brings it to a clear invitation:
LOOK… and LIVE.
Just as Israel looked at the serpent and lived…
We look to Christ and receive life.
Isaiah 45:22 declares:
“Look unto me, and be ye saved…”
Salvation is not complicated:
Not effort
Not religion
Not works
It is faith in a risen Savior.
The tomb is open.
The invitation is given.
Will you LOOK?
Hebrews 12:2 tells us where to look: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”
Question:
Have you personally looked to Christ for salvation?
Are you still delaying, doubting, or resisting?
LOOK by Faith, and LIVE.
