Archive Weekly Truths
Church Family,
The message from Isaiah 6 (KJV) is familiar Scripture for many and reminds us that truth still requires a fresh understanding. Isaiah’s vision of the Lord did not occur in a vacuum — it came after a season of moral decline, spiritual drift, and national brokenness described in Isaiah chapters 1–3 (KJV) God addressed the condition of His people before He commissioned Isaiah to “…Go, and tell this people,…” Isaiah 6:9 (KJV)
This week’s devotional is presented to help us slow down, look carefully, and prepare intentionally as we move toward our upcoming Revival beginning March 15-18, 2026. The purpose is not to add information, but to cultivate transformation.
Each day invites us to:
Å Look Up and recover a clear vision of a holy God
Å Look Within and allow the Lord to cleanse our hearts
Å Look Out and respond obediently to His call
Revival has never started with programs or perfect conditions. It has always begun when God’s people humbled themselves, prayed, and returned to Him with sincere hearts. My prayer is that as we walk through these Scriptures together, the Lord will prepare us — not just for meetings, but for movement.
Let us ask God to do a deep work in us, so He might do a great work through us.
With expectation and prayer,
A.D. Newton
In days of Preparation for Revival: “Look Up • Look Within • Look Out” Isaiah chapters 1 – 6 (KJV)
Feb 2, 2026 When God’s People Drift
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 1:2–6; Isaiah 3:8 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:
Before Isaiah ever saw the Lord high and lifted up, he saw a nation low and broken down. Isaiah chapters 1–3 (KJV) describe Judah’s condition plainly — religious activity without repentance, leadership failure, moral decay, and spiritual blindness. God was not silent, but the people had grown dull of hearing.
This matters because Isaiah 6 (KJV) is not a new subject — it is God’s remedy. Revival does not begin with excitement; it begins with honesty. God confronts the condition of His people before He commissions His servants.
Revival preparation starts when we stop explaining away decline and start asking God to show us the truth about our hearts.
Reflection Questions:
Where have I grown spiritually comfortable instead of spiritually sensitive?
Am I more aware of what’s wrong “out there” than what God wants to correct “in here”?
Prayer:
Lord, search me. Remove spiritual blindness and restore holy sensitivity in my heart. Prepare me for what You want to do. Amen.
Revival Readiness Focus:
Revival begins with awareness, not activity.
Feb 3, 2026 Looking Up: Seeing God Clearly
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 6:1–3 (KJV)
Devotional Thought: “In the year that king Uzziah died…” Earthly stability had collapsed, but Isaiah discovered something greater — God was still on the throne. When familiar supports fall away, God often sharpens our vision.
Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. Heaven was not confused by Judah’s chaos. The seraphims cried, “Holy, holy, holy,” declaring that God’s glory still filled the earth—even when it didn’t look like it on the ground.
Revival clarity comes when God’s people lift their eyes above circumstances and fix them on the throne.
Reflection Questions:
What “earthly throne” has distracted my vision?
Do I see God as holy, or merely helpful?
Prayer:
Holy God, lift my eyes above the noise of this world. Let me see You as You truly are. Amen.
Revival Readiness Focus:
You cannot see yourself rightly until you see God clearly.
Feb 4, 2026 Looking Within: Personal Conviction
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 6:5–7; 1 John 1:9 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:
Isaiah did not say, “Woe is Judah.” He said, “Woe is me.” Holiness always turns the spotlight inward before it shines outward. When Isaiah saw the King, he recognized his own uncleanness.
The live coal came from the altar—God’s provision, not Isaiah’s effort. This was not salvation; this was cleansing for service. God never cleanses what we conceal, but He always cleanses what we confess.
Revival starts in the church when God’s people stop defending themselves and start surrendering themselves.
Reflection Questions:
Is there anything God has been putting His finger on in my life?
Am I confessing sin, or just managing appearances?
Prayer:
Lord, cleanse me. I bring nothing to You but honesty. Purge my heart so I may serve You fully. Amen.
Revival Readiness Focus:
Confession precedes commission.
Feb 5, 2026 Looking Out: Answering God’s Call
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 6:8; Romans 10:14–15 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:
Only after vision and cleansing did Isaiah hear the call: “Whom shall I send?” God did not ask this until Isaiah was ready to answer. Availability mattered more than ability.
Isaiah didn’t negotiate. He didn’t delay. A cleansed heart responds willingly. When God changes us, He sends us—first to pray, then to speak, then to go.
Revival always moves outward. God never revives His people just to make them comfortable.
Reflection Questions:
Where might God be asking me to say, “Here am I”?
Am I willing to be sent, even if it costs comfort?
Prayer:
Lord, here am I. Use me where You see fit. Make me available for Your purposes. Amen.
Revival Readiness Focus:
God sends the willing, not the perfect.
Feb 6, 2026 Staying Faithful When It’s Hard
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 6:9–13; Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:
Isaiah’s assignment was not easy. God told him to preach even when people would not listen. Faithfulness—not visible success—was the metric. God values obedience over outcomes.
Revival preparation includes endurance. We worship with our wings up, keep our eyes on the throne, and remain steady when the work is difficult. God sees faithfulness that others overlook.
Revival is not sustained by emotion, but by obedience over time.
Reflection Questions:
Am I measuring faithfulness by results or obedience?
Will I stay committed even when encouragement is limited?
Prayer:
Lord, give me endurance. Help me remain faithful in the generation You’ve placed me in. Amen.
Revival Readiness Focus:
God honors perseverance.
